West Texas Oil Reports

Keeping Companies Compliant since 1948

Statewide Rule 10 (SWR10) Applications

Statewide Rule 10 Applications are filed for the purpose of seeking permission from the RRC to downhole commingle between two or more approved fields in the same production string.

Data Sheets and accompanying paperwork are provided for fields covered under approved hearing dockets and filed alongside the RRC filing fee.

Additional data such as pressure information, capable production information and evidence of fluid compatibility needs to be provided for wells commingled with fields not covered under existing blanket order dockets. These filings also include the required 1/2 mile map of offset operators, mailed notification to the aforementioned operators and a wellbore schematic.

West Texas Oil Reports was founded in 1948 by Lamar Eschberger and later passed on to his daughter Ann E. Ritchie who currently owns and operates the oil and gas regulatory consulting firm that specializes in assisting operators with required Texas Railroad Commission filings.
